Since 2016, I have been a lecturer at the Graduate Gender Programme at Utrecht University. In the past, I have taught courses at the Philosophy Department at the University of Amsterdam, and have been a regular guest lecturer at the Philosophy Department and Institute for Gender Studies at Radboud University Nijmegen.
In 2016, I obtained the University Teaching Qualification (Basis Kwalificatie Onderwijs), a nationally recognized proof of teaching skills. I have experience in all areas of university teaching: lecturing, small group seminars, and supervision. I teach both in English and in Dutch, and on BA and MA levels.
My expertise in teaching lies with feminist theory, intersectionality and critical race feminisms, and historiography of feminist ideas. Courses I have taught include: Historiography of Feminist Ideas, Gender, Ethnicity and Cultural Critique, Feminist Theory: Researching and Theorizing Intersectionality, and Identity Politics Revisited.
